Corporate Support

Support from local companies has made a big difference to INS over the years. This has included companies choosing INS as their ‘Charity of the Year’, taking part in a sponsored event or challenge, organising staff volunteering days to help keep our premises in good shape for service users, running bake or other sales, as well as donations of money, time, or expertise.

Companies have said that their staff really enjoy giving back to the local community as part of their corporate social responsibility. INS has been working with local statutory, voluntary and community partners for over 30 years and we can promote your support to our service users and networks.

If you would like to consider fundraising at work, find out how your organisation can get involved:

  • Make INS your ‘Charity of the Year’

  • Sponsor one of our events

  • Organise staff volunteering days

  • Display INS collection tins

  • Donate a raffle prize or service

  • Donate equipment

  • Run a fundraising event

  • Payroll giving

Payroll giving to INS allows your staff to make a tax-effective, regular donation from their salary. A company can also show their charitable support by matching their staff donations.

Sutton Winson
Local insurance brokers, Sutton Winson, supported INS as their chosen charity for the year by holding fundraising events and volunteering their time to transform our Summer House and garden.

As well as volunteering days at INS, staff also raised money to purchase three iPads for use with our service users who have communication difficulties, as well as raising further donations for us and supporting INS events like our Quiz nights.

Squire’s Garden Centres

Squire’s Garden Centres supported INS as one of their Charities of the Year by displaying collection tins and holding staff fundraising events for us at their Twickenham centre, and generously donated prizes for our event raffles to support our fundraising.

Heathrow Airport
With the support of an INS service user who works for them, Heathrow Airport staff have held two sales with ‘Samosas and Sweets’ and ‘Samosas and Cakes’ to raise money for INS, with more planned for the future.
