Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists work to improve clients’ abilities to perform daily activities, enhance the motor skills, regain cognitive functions, and manage any emotional challenges that may arise due to their neurological condition.

The aim is to enhance their overall quality of life and independence by using therapeutic techniques and strategies allowing them to participate in their everyday life activities (occupations).

Following a referral our Occupational Therapist will complete an assessment and provide support through:

  • Provision of one to one session to achieve individually tailored goals.

  • Engagement in symptom management / education groups such as fatigue management and train your brain.

  • Signposting or referral to relevant organisations that provide support not within the INS scope of service.

For any other queries about our services, please contact us by emailing admin@ins.org.uk or phone 020 8755 4000
