Community Fundraising

INS is very grateful to receive incredible support from the local communities where we work. Fundraising in a group can be great fun and is a fantastic opportunity to do something positive for your community.

Fundraise with your school, club, church or other organisation to support the work we do to help people live well with their neurological conditions in West London.

Here are some community fundraising ideas:

  • Organise a collection

  • Host a Bake sale or lunch

  • Test your knowledge with a quiz – online or in person

  • Create a sponsored challenge, like a walk or cycle

Visit our fundraising page for a handy guide to raising money for charity.

If you have a Co-op membership, you can nominate us as recipients of your Local Community Fund.

St Margaret’s Church

St Margaret’s Catholic Church raised over £4,000 in 2022 by choosing INS as their local charity to support during their Lenten project.

Radnor House School

The Friends of Radnor House School generously chose INS as one of their charities of the year over 2021-2022, raising an amazing total of almost £10,000 through cake sales, ‘wear your own clothes’ days, and even scaling Mt Snowdon and Ben Nevis as part of an annual challenge.

For their Make a Difference Day in July 2022, 10 pupils from the Year 8 group visited INS and volunteered in a Crafts session. The session was greatly enjoyed by both students and service users, who loved meeting each other and sharing stories.

Richmond Bridge Club

Richmond Bridge Club held their Café Bridge event in June 2023, and chose INS as the charity to benefit that year. Over 200 players came together across 12 cafés and restaurants in Richmond to compete and raise money for a good cause, and they also had the opportunity to enter a raffle organised by the INS team. The day was a great success and raised almost £6,000 to support our work.
