Trustees

The Trustees are responsible for all strategic decision making, including business planning. The Trustees are all volunteers and the Board works as a team to ensure that within the group there is a diverse range of skills, talents and backgrounds to support the CEO, staff and volunteers at INS. Our current board of 12 Trustees come from the communities we serve and have a broad range of skills and expertise in their fields including clinical, health and social care, finance, business, human resources, IT, marketing and fundraising. Several Board members have lived experience of neurological conditions.

We hold four full Board meetings a year and sub committees with Terms of Reference approved by the Board. Board members also attend our INSight group, with representatives from service users with neurological conditions, carers, clinical staff and volunteers, which meets quarterly to review and discuss INS services.
